Here at The Flying Chef II, we are dedicated to using the freshest and, if possible, local ingredients. Our menus are customized and tailored to fit your special event and budget. Our associates are able to plan your event from an intimate dinner party to large receptions.

 

Andrea Huntjens, Chef-Owner, has lived and worked in the Richmond area for over thirty years. Her experience and attention to detailwill ensure your event is “catered” to. She has also recently been inducted into the Confrerie de la Chaine Des Rotisseurs Society as a Maitre Rotisseur Traiteur. The Chaine is an international organization, promoting culinary and enological education.

 

When you work with The Flying Chef II, all you need to do is relax and be the host! Our event consultants can customize a menu from the light and simple, to multi-course dinners complete with wine pairings and full-service staffing. “Andrea served as caterer and decorator for our tent at the Polo match put on by the Goochland Family Fellowship, where Moore Cadillac serves as title sponsor. We invited 125 people to our tent, and the day we showed up it was completely decorated and all beverages and food were supplied. Andrea did everything- all I had to do was be a good hostess. When I met with Andrea to decide on a theme for the tent, she suggested the southern theme that we went with and she had great ideas for how the tent was to look, so I gave her full reign, I knew I could trust her with getting the job done, and she did. Because of her creativity our tent's theme won first prize. I have worked with many caterers before and I never had the confidence in them that I had with Andrea. For our event, I literally didn't have to do a thing.”
